Radnor Pumpkin Patch is a fun festival for fall! Families and friends come to pick pumpkins for halloween.

Pumpkins are used as a spooky outdoor decoration for halloween night.

Using a sharp tool, we take out the insides of the pumpkin, hollowing it out completely, and then carve a face design into the pumpkin. We stick a candle inside of the hollow pumpkin and the face lights up in the night.

Some people even use the seed from the inside of the pumpkin to roast and then eat. They are a yummy halloween treat!

In the festival there are many fun games to play and you can even win prizes. For example, there is a hay scramble where you can find surprises and even a big bouncy slide.

You can take a ride in a hay filled wagon, pulled by a tractor, to a place where there are many pumpkins scattered among the fields and when you find a pumpkin that you like, you keep it!
